Lost and Found
Lost and Found
I’ve lost my heart,
It jumped out of body
I saw it run down a forest path
And I can’t catch it
I can’t catch it
It’s the gingerbread man
Now there is a cold vacant spot
Where my heart used to be
And I am cold on the inside
And on the outside too
And I still see my heart
Running down the path
And can’t catch it
I can’t catch it
It’s the gingerbread man
But then I see the world
And what they do to their hearts
Breaking them and stealing them
And the pain it brings to them
And I still see my heart
Running down that forest path
And it’s the gingerbread man
The gingerbread man
But I don’t want to catch it.
