Piggy Bank
Larger than a normal piggy bank,
A gift for a baby giant.
It stairs at me with its white painted eyes,
Begging for the artist to paint eyebrows.
Eyebrows of scowl and hatred,
Eyebrows black and thick.
Pig-like.
Its stationary now but if I look away it might move.
Lumber with the clank of change,
Each step heavy and monetary.
Its flashy pink paint attracts ugly birds,
And the piggy bank is ashamed,
And angry.
Angry at the world and now at me.
Will feast on anything that moves.
I give it a dollar.
It eats it with a cliché insert.
It seems fulfilled.
