I would happily accompany you, it’s just accustomed to me.
O’erhead the sidewalk street lamps shading out the city scene.
That’s okay, darling, we’ll see it in the morning.
Pull those shades while I light this fireplace.
The cold will seep in only to be rushed away.
So lock the door and shut the vents.
It’s only us tonight, babe, and our Manhattan apartment.
