Trying to change the environment

Getting rid of that green stuff

Trying to make youths catch an academic fever

Instead of spurring selling that reefer

And getting rid of the hustler's mentality fever

Because that s*** will end you up on the front door of the reaper

And you can't learn from that because death is no teacher

So please listen to the rabbi, Imam or your preacher

Go to school, so later you can kick your feet up

Relax and work at your leisure

Instead of becoming a statistic ever increasing

And leave the ghetto and hood instead of never leaving

Because positive attitudes are worth reaping
