Four Days

Here we go again
The feelings are rushing back
It hits me like a ton of bricks
Now it’s time to sit on the couch
Watch old black and white re-runs
To eat a tub of ice cream
Because of a thing called
Rejection
And you don’t even know
You rejected me

Here they come again
The tears come anytime
I listen to any slow love song
Maybe it’s because
I love to easily
I let my guard down And like a bitter friend
Failure came back around
And now it’s four days
Until my seventeenth birthday
And all I wanted was you
Now I’ll be the only one
At my ball
Without someone to dance with

Here it goes again
