When I held your hand
I tried to pull away, you wouldn't let go
Whenever I cried,
you ran to my side,
even though I didn't want you to
When I went for a walk
you followed me even though I told you "no"
I felt I was Big and Strong
While you thought i was weak and small
After all these years
Of not needing you
I need you more than ever right now
