Mature.

She watched them, wondering…
How he had experienced so much.

Her prose tentatively,
Made its way over to his.
Innocent.

He watched it, wondering…
How she had experienced so little.

A lifetime later,
Their poetry was,
Identical.


The author's comments:
This is about how two people can be the same age, and yet their persona's can vary due to their relative experiences. They may reach a point where they reach the same plane of thinking, due to shared life events.
