Femella
I feel so alone
even when I am surrounded.
With every bone, for you I yearn;
for when I dream, I am unbounded.
When I imagine, we are together,
and yet when I wake, we are severed.
In ecstasy, I can feel you, touch you
but in reality, I am tethered
I feel so claustrophobic
sitting in this empty room.
The air is so thick, I choke.
But in death, I’ll meet you soon.
These feelings of such torment
should not be your burden.
And that is why I’ve left you;
in hope that you may blossom.
The air is so thick, I choke.
