The Rain.
I see the gray clouds rolling in
And something stirs from deep within
Thundering through like a runaway train
Look up everyone - here comes the rain.
This rain does not bring gloom
There's so much space and so much room
To sit and think about your goals
And watch the magic of nature unfold.
To think, you give this rain so much blame
But you should hold your head in shame
This rain can help you live your dreams
This rain is not as menacing as it seems.
The rain itself is a fairytale
A storybook trying to set sail
Things you can imagine, but cannot hold
A million different stories left untold.
And as that gray train continues its journey
I sit in anxiety, waiting and yearning
Breaking through, telling the clouds to go
The radiance and beauty of a shining rainbow.
