She sits, looking into the mirror.
She studies her reflection.
She wipes off her makeup.
She lets down her hair.
She pushes up her sleaves, showing her scars to the world.
She thinks, "This is real. This is me."
She wonders if it's enough; if it will ever be enough.
Expectations so high, yet so sure she'll fall.
