This Is Me
Look past the makeup, past the clothes, past the smiles and laughter and all the hairspray. Look past the loud music, the attitude, the boys, the rumors. Look past the sex and drugs. What do you see? I see someone that no one takes notice of. Someone that no one can get to. I see someone that trusts no one. I see someone so breakable they must hide that by putting up a tough, rebellious exterior just to feel safe. I see someone so fearless, yet so afraid of getting hurt. I see someone who needs someone. I see myself. What will it take for you to see me?
