when will it end.

I’m patient,

and broke down more than once.

But I’ve been patient.

I worked hard for multiple things,

and was let down.

It wasn’t even that though,

it’s the passion

in which is missing in my life.

For, passion is like a soulmate.

I’ve moved on from that soulmate,

I’m now empty-handed.

with a passport in my pocket.

because this satin lace,

can’t hide my face any longer.

It reveals more than I’d like..

The summer is cold,

and I need a new morning,

of fresh summer heat to open up my eyes.

Something Is Missing.

I don’t know what force brought me here,

maybe it was to teach a lesson of some sort.

In which, I still haven’t found the key to these closed doors.

And for the first time in my life,

I can’t rely on anyone else to find it for me.

So burn the lace,

spare me the summer heat.

Because this “whatever”

is closed,

done with.

And I don’t need some underlying soul to get me out of here.

I just need me,

And I know me.

So with these furrowing steps,

I surrender my stubborn fists,

and open the door to something new.
