Introducing the Monster (Part 1)

I was full of wishes.
I was also full of hate...
Have you ever met a monster?
Have you ever met me?
Bitterness is poison.
Hate is disease.
Together they kill you or turn you into a beast.
I grew scales and had a tongue three feet long.
It was very talented.
I could throw knives and strangle people with it.
Horns sprouted from my head and claws from my fingers.
I didn't need any of this.
I could have sliced you with my glare.
But, honestly,
I died.
