You sit there staring at me,
Like I’m crazy,
Like I need help,
But I don’t,
I’m the normal one,
Can’t you see it?
It’s there,
You stand up and walk away,
I yell your name in the darkness,
Why can’t they see you?
You come back with a doll,
‘Like in the old times remember,’ you whisper,
Why am I the only one that can hear you?
‘She’s there can’t you see?’
They turn to where I’m pointing,
You smile like always,
My mom looks at me with tears in her eyes,
‘Honey, she has been dead for the past 3 weeks.’
You continue smiling,
They walk away,
I look for you,
But the only thing left is the doll.
