Have you heard the song
the wind plays
as it gently shakes
its lovers’ leaves?

have you heard how
bees would hum (or moan)
as from flower to flower
they land on?

have you heard the melody
ocean waves would cause
as (with open arms) run
to caress their lovers – stones?

I have no melody for you
or lullaby to sing before
you fall asleep, yet
three words never cease
to leave my lips:

I love you

The author's comments:
It saddens me that I can never be able to express my love to you like the world does all around me. What if you grow tired of all my "I love you"s?
