You knew how I was
You pretended to be my friend
I fell for it for awhile
Then you left
I grew stronger
I grew wiser
I grew more confident
Now you're back
You try to trick me again
You try to pull me in
But I am different now
You don't know who I am anymore
Get out of my life
Things were better without you
I won't let you tear me down
I have friends that care
You have people you use
People who use you right back
You'll never know love
You only know hate
Come back when you learn to love
Then I might believe you've changed
