I miss how we used to be.
I miss the way your blue eyes looked straight through me.
I miss being in love with you and feeling safe in your arms.
I miss how I was your whole world and you were mine
I miss the way our fingers were intertwined.
I miss how you could cheer me up with one word.
I miss how amazing I felt when you first calmed my nerves.
I miss how we could play hide-and-seek like we were kids again.
But most of all,
I miss you.
