If love was a currency
you'd always be close to me
I would exchange every
penny I have to
express my love to you,
I wouldn't be frugal with you
I'd learn to save you
and only spend you
when I need you the most
I'd keep you in the bank
of my heart
with deposits of hugs and kisses

I really like this cause I feel the same way about love, a lot of the things you said really resonated with me. And it's really sweet :)

Awesome poem! My only critizism, is the over usage of the word "you". But beside that minor deatil, it was fine. Perfect actually. And to answer your question: no, do not make this longer, it is short and well spent, just like money. Impeccable job. Keep rockin!
