A couple of straws, slim and tall, inside a cup, at the mall,
tunneling sips, belonging to, a couple of starry eyed kids.
A couple of straws, slim and tall,
inside an empty cup.
A couple of kids, starry eyed,
both afraid to look up.
A couple of kids, in the mall,
just a couple--
Of kids.
