In Simple Words

I'm done with covering things up in cute words and fake smiles. Do i forgive and forget? When I'm unsure of the truth in your "I'm sorries" and "I promises"?
How do I know you're done being a sleaze and a jerk? I don't know.
And so here i sit again making my small talk that sounds so nice and friendly.
Oh please give me a single sign saying "trust him!" in preferably big light up letters.
When I get rid of the cute words and the fake smiles and the small talk there is only one thing left to say...
I don't trust you.
