This world is just too fast
I just wanna take my time
stop
and stare at the clouds
While everyone else rushes on
I will stand and watch them go
I'm not lazy
or slow
I just wanna take my time
stop
and smell the roses
Let everyone else stress
I'm tak'in it easy
Just lay on a grassy hill
arms behind my head
just mak'in pictures in the night sky
Lay with me awhile
and relax
Let your stress go
I just wanna take my time
stop
and feel the rain wash me clean
I don't wanna miss a thing
