But somewhere down the road I took a left and before I knew it,
I was lost when I looked into your eyes.

I got lost deeper and deeper
With every complement you said,
And every encouraging word you told me.
I was scared to tell you the truth,
But now I realize I must.

I had my words clinched in a fist for so long,
