Forget it

Little imagination goes a long way
I’m able to see your face every single day,
And I question if you ever do the same

I remember the sun looming through the clouds--
Warmth suddenly tumbling down
Every feature you possessed
Was illuminated, ignited
Something inside me reluctantly incited

If you knew about this moment,
Would it alter your perspective?
To say the least, I’m quite blind
Yet, this strained vision manages to envision
A silly thought--you being mine…

But we’re far from that threshold
We unravel…
Layer after layer
Feelings travel
In unpredictable directions
There’s no exceptions
I mustn’t stumble for you

I refuse to go chasing daydreams
And it seems that I’m broken at my seams
What if you liked me?
I can answer that
Unlikely
