Why do we do this?

Why do we focus
Half our life trying to find love?
When the other half
Is filled with adventure and opportunity's.
Why do we kill ourselves
everyday with hatred?
When we could love,
And cherish one another.
Then again why am I here?
Knowing nothing
But how to love,
Hate,
And torture myself.
Is their even a reason for life?
For me?
For anybody?
