My Wall

I peep over my wall.
I see you standing there watching me, waiting for me to come out.
I don’t want to.
This is my wall after all
This is my safety after all
I need this wall after all
I peep over my wall again
And I still see you standing there.
In not coming out.
This is my wall after all
This is my safety after all
I need this after all
I peep over my wall again
I see you still standing there.
I know what you want,
You want me to come out,
But I can’t.
This wall is me now.
The bricks are cemented down now.
I can’t move them now.
I am stuck here now.
This is my wall after all
This is my safety after all
I need this wall after all
I peep over for the last time
And your still there as the sky covers itself in it’s dark blanket.
You still want me to come out
And I still can’t come out.
Help me, free myself from my wall.
I don’t know how to get out.
I don’t know if I want to get out.
This is my wall after all
This is my safety after all
I need this wall after all
At least I think so…
