Sitting in the darkness,
letting the tears silently fall.

The everlasting pain of reality,
the crying and misery will be shattered
when the shadows come to take over
and the pain will be temporarily covered.

Inside the arms of the darkness,
where all thoughts are calmed
where the pain of reality is tamed
but only for a moment in time

the pain is unleashing itself
the darkness fading into color
the arms releasing themselves
to reveal the cruelty of reality

not wanting to go back
not the pain, the misery, the hatefulness
there's only a certain amount of time
for the shadows to fade into the light

not wanting to live the cruelty
that thought has one immediate answer
it only comes to one resolution
cower back into the darkness

the hate and misery will never be relived
the thoughts will fear the darkness of all shadows
the pain will never come into the arms of darkness
it's time...time to cling to the slipping darkness

it will only take a few seconds to fully engulf
engulf in the darkness and be done
done with the pain and hate
three, two, one the darkness has taken over

no more pain
no more hate
no more misery
all are locked in the doors of the colored world
never unleashed into the arms of darkness
