I am pleading for your help
For some release, I am on the brink
There’s a yearning so strong in my soul
I cannot control
Clawing at my insides
It tears me apart bit by bit
My eyes are dry
Helplessness settles in deep
Right at home in the blank void
That is me
Can you help me
Give a spark to bring light into the
Dark desolate place
This place that has become my home
