Lie To Me

By , Tropy Club, TX
Here is a story for you.
It’s about me.
It’s about how you treated me
How you told me you loved me
How you told me no one was better than me
How you lied to me.
I asked you to tell me the truth
I asked a question I already knew the answer to
I asked you if you have ever fallen in love
And you said no
But you see
You told my friend
You loved her.
How was I supposed to trust you when you lied to me like that?
You told me you never did anything wrong
You blamed your problems on your dad
And told me I was always negative
I know I’m not perfect
But it was getting to my head
You lied
How could I know if you were lying about loving me?
How could I know if you were still in love with her?
Since that day
I have learned
Not to hand my heart to anyone
Not to get close to anyone
Because you said you would be there for me
And then you left
You lied
And I no longer care
I’ll still be nice to you
But you tore my heart in two
You say I toy with hearts
It’s really you who toys with them
I caught you lying to me
For all I knew
You could have been cheating
I broke up with you because you lied
Everything I said was the truth
I loved you
But now…
I don’t.
Now im going to say,
Welcome to life.
I hope you enjoy your stay.
Because you lie
Its going to be a living he** for you
And I wont be there to help you.
Because of that fact,
That one piece of information I got about you,
You lie.
