Wasn't I Perfect?
What’s the matter, Love?
Wasn’t I good enough for you?
Was being in my life too tough?
 I knew it wasn’t true.

 Wasn’t I perfect the way I was?
Why did you try and change me?
Did you find someone else, a new blank canvas?
Are you shoving me out, or setting me free?

 What is it, Darling?
 Aren’t I everything I should be?
 Was my smile too boring?
Take my picture, and edit me.

Are you here to tell me I was wrong, Hater?
I thought I was perfect how I was.
Never in my life will I be like her.
This is me, you’ll learn to adjust.
