Boredom
Boredom
It strikes the mind
Faster than lightening
And takes over every part of you
Until you’re numb
With the need to do something.
And suddenly
Your brain bubbles
Boils
Brightens
Bulges
Becomes beblubbered
Begs boredom
Barbarically
To stop
And you take boredom by the horns
And you look it in the eyes
And say “NO MORE!”
And then you write a poem
