Today is sunny
Even if tomorrow it rains
The water will nourish the earth
And the water shall be retained
The flowers will sip it up its stem
And grow big and bright
The trees will grow even taller
And will provide birds rest after their flight
The butterflies flutter about
And the morning glories sing to the sun
The trees dance in the wind
And little children play and run
Happy picnicers eat
While little ants wander to and fro
A girl plays basketballs
While her father mows
Today is a good day
Even when we want to fuss
But always remember
Today was a gift
From the Lord, given to us :)
