Truth and Lies
What if we lived in a world
with no secrecy or lies?
Would our lives come unfurled
if there was an end to our guise?
For once true feelings would be known
but where is the line that tells whether that's bad or good?
Should some things be unshown
or misunderstood?
There would be no lies,
but are there not lessons learned from lying?
How different would be our cries
if we never learned the value of truth, undenying?
Perhaps it is best
to take what we know,
leave out the rest,
and keep the current flow.
