Sunrise
When my eyes have the privilege of gazing upon you
My heart races like Phaeton’s steeds
Blazing and burning and making it bright
Galloping swiftly, turning day into night
When I hear your voice
My ears listen as if someone was playing a sweet melody
That consists of a thousand instruments all made of gold
Showing the beauty of not only their sound
When I smell the sweet perfume of your skin
I breathe in so heavily I worry I might
Take the scent right off of you, but when I exhale,
It’s like rebirth because I know I can smell you forever
When I love you
I know I can’t stop
I know I’ll love you forever because,
You are the sun
And my day begins with you rising
And ends with you setting
