Family
Family.
A family is like a tree
It has a base, and it has branches.
It stretches far out,
Reaching for a celestial recognition.
And always, no matter how far it spreads out,
Everything receives what it needs
Whether it be support, love, care, nurture…
Anything receives everything
Because that’s what family does.
It does its best to help out those new little buds,
And even if it is just a shady plant in a dark alley
It will always, always share its light with each part.
It will do its best to in the end be its best
Because deep down (in its soul) another majestic force
Is taking care of that base, those braches, the leaves, and the new little buds.
