Last Breath
Loving you has cost me my pride
Loving you has cost me my senses
Loving you has cost me everything
Yet I have gained so much
Just by adoring you and doting on you
You have taught me many-a-thing
Just by existing and playing a part in my life
Loving you has helped me see
Loving you has helped me listen
Loving you has helped me understand
That ignorance is not always bliss
Yet, enlightenment isn’t either
Seeing and feeling and touching
These senses are like keys
That open locks that we haven’t even came across yet
But you, my darling are the key to my heart
And that is why I feel I must proclaim this revelation
Loving you has cost me my last breath
