When I said I like you, I never should have.
I should have known you would freak out
Space away from me
Cut me off from the one thing I wanted-
You.
I should have known you are a boy still
Wrapped in appearances and image.
I should not have thought you are any different from the other teen boys.
I should have known you wouldn't recognize me as a girl who would love you until you are wise enough to appreciate it.
I should have seen the real you.
And for that, I apologize.
