Immortal
All his life his dream was just to be remembered.
His dreams kept him going during December.
That’s the when depression became a regular occurrence.
His dream was to be someone who actually made a difference.
His entire life he felt like he was being forced to be a clone.
He felt like his own talent wouldn’t be shown.
It was like he had to be just like someone else if he wanted to be loved.
But he was nothing like anyone else so he always felt unloved.
He hid his talent, but tried his best at everything else he did.
Eventually someone was able to notice the talent he hid.
And he finally felt like he was on his way towards the future he wanted to see.
He knew now that someday he’d be immortal through someone’s memory.
