To Start A New Day

A new day
breathes fresh
air,
nudging
new memories
into an old story.
Shifting,
Emerging,
it is formed
by new knowledge –
But how?
After careful resting,
the world exhales.
The day
wanes with familiar sunsets.
And with a farewell to the old moon,
the sun
shuts her eyes.
Waiting,
to start a new day.
