When she's done screaming,
The sadness, the sorrow,
From seeing her cry,
The joy, the happiness,
Of her finally knowing,
The pain, the grief,
Of her knowing the truth,
The anger, the madness,
Of her going through my private things,
The confusion, the hopelessness,
Of wondering what I have done with my life,
The hope, the eagerness,
Of wondering how much my life will change,
The bitterness, the defeat,
Because of her and me,
The betrayal, the lose of trust,
Between us,
Never again to be fully restored,
The feelings,
So overwhelming, so true,
Flow down and out of my bloodshot eyes,
Down my reddening, throbbing, stinging cheek,
Down my quivering chin,
And onto the hardwood floor,
Where they will be forgotten,
Forgotten by everyone,
Everyone, except me.
