Life Mystery
Life
Is cut throat, blades and bones,
And the stench of sewers are surrounding you,
Closing in
Blood-wrenched floors,
As authorities count the lifeless,
Estimating the death toll
With the blink of an eye, they all hurry home
And the scene changes
To supper and love, and a happy home, the one
thing they think can save us
From going nuts is to carry an unfilled stare
And a quiet half-dead dream.
With no allowed entrance
All doors closed,
And the room silent and still,
I look around as I experience life.
