Ignorance
If you only tolerate what you already know
You are missing every opportunity to grow
Your thoughts are shrouded and clouded
and your stubborn ignorance compounds it
Nothing can penetrate your thick skin
But all the words I hear you say quickly sink in
Someone must’ve given you the right to be entitled
Because hard work won’t teach you to make others feel bewailed
There is one question I must ask: Do you think before you speak?
Or do you effortlessly speak words to make my eyes leak
THough you bring me down and try to push me away
You have forgotten I have a blissful reason to stay
So though you’re cruel and oblivious to your many flaws
I am strong enough to pry apart your vicious jaws.
