The rushing river is gone, but I live on
The clouds pass by, but I will not fly
The rain is washed away, but I stay
You ripped my heart out, but it will heal
Birds chirp as they leave, but I'm here
The wind whistles but I won't be blown away
This is goodbye, my friend
What's done is done, no going back
I'm sorry if I cause harm but, my life needs to move on
We hurt each too much, I'm sorry
Goodbye, I'll be here, but you need to go
