I sit here again with pen in hand and words in mind.
Breathing words on paper. expression.
feeling for who fooled me, forgiveness.
the smirks and fake smiles from ones who hurt, deceitful.
And the broken hearts along the way, gruesome.
Cold feet in high water moves me, you move me.
But once again that five letter word comes into play.
Trust is what we should have, trust is what we should share.
So for those who roll eyes with crooked smiles and knives in hand..Thank you.
Because you have now showed me that you don't deserve..
...MY TRUST.
