The play of the Game
Tangled in smiles, hopes and dreams her delicate eyes a glaze.
She looks at him and mouths the words that she has been meaning to say.
His eyes grows wide he’s shocked and scared, spits and sputters with rage.
She looks at him questioning, why did it turn out this way?
I poured my heart gave it all just to waste my breath.
From one look in your eyes, I realize now that you aren’t the best.
You make me crazy, you make me wild, like a beast that can’t be tamed.
I know you don’t love me, but I love you.
It’s the play of the game.
