An Aesthetic Voyager
i want
to travel
to places unknown to my eyes,
where my brain is a map,
and i become lost in pavement.
i want
to live
in towns where my name is a mystery,
where i am so truly alone,
that i forget my name too.
i want
to know
people with story-filled paths,
those whose faces carry scars
of moments we long to forget.
i want
to see
beauty
in the smile of a man with no teeth,
in the strength of a broken woman,
in the cold loneliness surrounding a stranger.
i want
to experience
love, when it is nothing more than a fleeting fallacy
time, when it passes silently without distortion
life, when it is in its most vulnerable form.
