Rebirth
Gaze at the world,
And what do you see?
The people,
the laughing,
all in perfect harmony?
I see a place,
That is teeming with life,
A world bursting with hope,
whilst humanity is overwhelmed with strife.
If we were all gone,
If for only a day,
Wouldn't the world get along,
almost content with us away?
Such a delicate balance,
Between ourselves and Mother Earth,
Maybe once we are gone,
She will again blossom,
A sacred act of rebirth.
