When you let people eat out of the palm of your hand you're bound to be bitten, when other people's attitudes bring you down you're not any less rotten  then the noxious fumes that destroyed their happiness,
The city will look up from their self dug holes they will divert their attention to you instead of their self inflicted wounds they will swallow their tears just to choke out "how do you stay happy in such times of injustice and punishment?" and to that you will relply without pity "its all I've got." they will hear but not listen they will keep digging and they will keep hurting, they will keep biting your hand but you will smile and feel thankful all the day through
