September Days
Autumn comes and goes as quickly as the snow.
Leaves change into reds and golds,
as the flow in the cool crisp wind?
before the snow comes and takes them away.
Away? into the lush green mountains;
and into the fiery sunset, framed with a purple haze draped in a frosty night.
I’d like to take September days ad store them
in my mind, so they can keep me warm?
when winter proves unkind.
