All you think is how much longer
Where is the end
Why
It’s fast
You see nothing
But others
Running by your side
It’s painful
Your legs pounding
Your mind numb
Pushing yourself to the edge
You might break
Faster

It’s amazing
You pass one
Then two
You can’t count them anymore
It’s winning
Covered in sweat
Legs shaking
But smiling
Smiling and knowing it’s over
