The leaves are changing
The leaves are changing
From green to yellow and red
Fall pumpkins, ripe for pies
Time for scouting new hunting areas
Spending time with my pa and brother
Shooting the wind
The leaves are changing
Indian summer made deer well fed
Hopefully for the big buck in our eyes
Soon the day will be here…
I feel the excitement growing within me
Night comes I’ll be dreaming of hunting
The leaves are all gone.
Today is the day
THE buck stopped here, I got the deer.
